Stylish Home in Koukaki

Clean comfortable apartment for 1-2 in a pleasant part of town with decent cooking hobs and most pleasant host who accommodated my early arrival. Away from the central area of massive tourist crowds but with all the amenities close by like grocery stores, excellent bakeries and coffee shops, fresh fish shops etc. Yet, it’s only about a pleasant 15 minute walk up to the Acropolis. Quiet excepting some motor bikes/cycles but this is Athens. Metro and tram about 5-7 minute walk away. All night bus 040 also close to get up to airport bus at Syntagma late at night or early morning when Metro isn’t running.

Washing machine and clothes-horse were very useful. Kitchen was great too. Perfect for travellers who need to administer themselves. While Athens isn’t great for exercise generally – this property is about 3km from the largest park in Athens. I really liked the graffiti, though some of it was clearly directed at properties such as this. Property is a 5min walk from a large bar/restaurant area, 10 min walk from the Acropoli metro station and Acropolis entrance.
